A Time For Giving… Erimus have been busy packing shoe boxes for Middlesbrough and Teesside Philanthropic Foundation #ShoeBoxAppeal to be distributed amongst homeless charities in the area.
It’s been heart-warming to see so many supporters of the charity break off from their own Christmas preparations to give time and donations for Teessiders in need.
Chris Nolan and Debbie Mellor of Erimus Insurance Brokers with Shirley Moss from Racz Group another generous patrons or the charity. Took shoe boxes packed with winter essentials for vulnerable locals to Susan Gill – a former Teesside Hero Award-winner – who runs the Homeless Café in Middlesbrough.
For the past two years Susan and her amazing team of volunteers have run the Homeless Cafe on Princes Road in Middlesbrough, serving up home-cooked meals to homeless, benefit-sanctioned and vulnerable people five days a week, 10am-1pm.
The Homeless Café now has 100 shoe boxes full of winter essentials to gift to their visitors in need over the Christmas period.
The Philanthropic Foundation was also delighted to donate £1,500 to the Homeless Café to help them share the Christmas spirit with the most vulnerable Teessiders.
Middlesbrough and Teesside Philanthropic Foundation are currently looking for corporate sponsors, if anyone is interested please contact Diane Williamson at email@example.com. Further details about the charity can be found on their website.
