We caught up with our Broking Manger, Jacqui Watson, to discuss her new role, working through lockdown, and plans for the future.
Busy! The Broking Manager role was a position I really wanted, Erimus is a growing company and I wanted to play a part in helping it get to the next step. I have ended up facing challenges I could never have anticipated, mainly COVID-19. Thankfully, my colleagues and managers have made what could have been a very difficult challenge much more pleasant than it might have been. It’s a real team effort to keep Customer Service levels at the standard we expect and need them to be at.
The broking team are experienced and conscientious workers and by keeping communication channels flowing, it meant we all kept up to date with who was doing what, how and when – clarity goes a long way in helping staff keep focused.
I really am, I hope it adds depth to my role and builds up my confidence in areas of my working day. I am truly grateful to have been considered and accepted.
I am looking to strengthen my technical knowledge and hopefully this will help other team members and clients when dealing with more complex cases and insurance requirements.
All of the modules have different relevance’s to my role so I am sure they will all be interesting. Certainly Risk Management will help with clients and Marketing will help with Sales so I guess I am seeing value in them all.
